Real-life theater director Jeanine (Amanda Seyfried) is tasked with reviving her former mentor’s most famous work, the opera “Salome.” Haunted by dark and disturbing memories from her past, Jeanine lets her repressed trauma color the present as she returns to the world of opera after a long hiatus.
